2017
Sascha Ott is a sole owner and manager of the Walter Ott Rohstoff-Recycling GmbH & Co. KG.

The Walter Ott Rohstoff-Recycling GmbH & Co. KG connects tradition with improvement and stands since over 60 years for short decisive ways and individual solutions.

2016
To the end of the year the cocompanions Dagmar Ott and Tatiana Feucht retire from the company and the management.

In August the company celebrates her 60-year-old company jubilee.

In February the granddaughter Natascha Ott enters into the family enterprise.

2006
The legal form of Walter Ott e.K. is changed and the company is renamed Walter Ott Rohstoff-Recycling GmbH & Co. KG. Walter Ott´s wife Dagmar and their children Tatjana Feucht and Sascha Ott become members of the executive board.
The company celebrates its 50th anniversary on 10 August.
The company founder, Walter Ott †, dies in October.

2003
Walter Ott´s daughter-in-law Christine Ott joins the company.

2001 to 2003
Operations and warehouse premises are expanded.

1999
The company inaugurates the roofing of the warehouse and handling areas, approved by the fourth German Federal Immission Control Act, which means that deliveries and collections can be made whatever the weather.

1996
The company celebrates its 40th anniversary.

1981
The company celebrates its 25th anniversary and Walter Ott´s 50th birthday at its new premises. Walter Ott´s son Sascha Ott joins his parents´ company.

1980
New office building with a hall is built in the Schertlenswald industrial area of Rutesheim.

1978
The company moves from Stuttgart-Feuerbach to Rutesheim, Germany.

1962
Walter Ott´s wife Dagmar Ott joins the company. In addition to running the day-to-day business operations, the company founder Walter Ott † develops the multi-purpose vehicle "chameleon" with the aim of significantly improving the material collection and transportation processes. This then enables the company to serve its customers using its own patented container exchange system, which is the first of its kind in Germany.


1956
Walter Ott founds the company Walter Ott trading in scrap and metal in Stuttgart, Germany. Shortly thereafter, the company expands into the ruptured grinding wheels and alloyed materials trade.
